1. Can I save backup of notes and links?
Yes. See all your notes on one page.
Copy-Paste them to any other program and save.
Text format or Table format  

2. Can Notes Bar damage my computer?
No. Notes Bar is just one record in your registry.
It can't harm anything.
 

3. Is it possible to uninstall Notes Bar?
Yes. Just delete this record from your registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
\Extensions\{D8DEE6AE-1AE4-11D4-9996-00B0D0278826}
 

4. How come you didn't ask me any information when I signed up?
Notes Bar is 100% anonymous. We don't collect any information.
If you forget your password, we can't help you! We don't know your email address!

5. How safe is my Notes Bar information? Do you run backups?
We do run backups. We do provide maximum possible safety features.
Notes Bar is running since 1998 without interruptions.
Our storage facilities are capable to grow for many years ahead.
 

6. Can we run/install this application on our private Intranet?
We don't offer Custom IE Bar anymore. Sorry...
You can make your own IE Buttons and Bars.

7. What will the charge be for use/storage?
Notes Bar is free service and always will be free in the future.
 

8. How can I delete keyword?
When you delete all notes with this keyword, keyword will be deleted automatically.
 

9. I installed toolbar button, but it doesn't work.
In some cases you have to reboot the computer. The button will work after reboot.
 

10. How to change password?
Go here to change your password.
You have to login to your Notes Bar first.
 

11. How private is my info?
It is 100% private. Only 2 people in our company have access to private tables in the database.
They are pretty busy and usually have better things to do than look in millions of someone's notes.
 

12. I get an error when trying to upload my favorites.
Upload function chokes on some non-English characters. We'll fix this bug soon.
 

13. Can I get source code for IE Notes Bar?
We did so many tricks writing it. Theoretically we would love to post the source code.
But then we have to explain all these tricks.
It will take to write a book and we just don't have time. :(
Plus, it written in ASP and now everyone dives into ASP.NET anyway.
